Bio: David Danenfelzer is a community development professional with more than 15 years of experience in affordable housing, historic preservation and nonprofit management. David is currently Manager of Development Finance for the Texas State Affordable Housing Corporation, a statewide nonprofit corporation. He manages the corporation’s multifamily bond programs, lending programs and the Affordable Communities of Texas land bank. David previously worked for the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs managing the Texas Housing Trust Fund and HOME Investment Partnerships program, was a regional program manager at Enterprise Community Partners, Inc., a co-founder of the Austin CHDO Roundtable and founding Board President at Pineywoods CDFI. David also volunteers with the U.N. Online Volunteers program assisting nonprofits across the globe with program development and strategic planning. David received his Bachelors of Science in History and Latin American Studies from the University of Wisconsin in Madison, and Masters in Community and Regional Planning from the University of Texas in Austin.
